Neutering is a vital component of responsible pet care, offering numerous health, behavioral, and population control benefits. It significantly reduces the risk of testicular cancer, prostate disease, and hormone-driven behaviors such as marking, roaming, and aggression.
Goose was in yesterday with Dr. Magnifico for his routine neuter procedure. He was hooked up to IV Fluids and kept hydrated throughout the day. We give a premed before surgery and this helps reduce stress and anxious behavior.
We send our Surgeries home with an E-collar or Medical Pet shirt in order to keep the incision protected for the 2 week recovery.
Goose is a happy boy and doing well during recovery
