Abraham was presented due to inappetence and general lethargy. His owner reported episodes of vomiting, prompting her to bring him in for evaluation. Abdominal radiographs revealed an abnormal pattern suggestive of a potential obstruction. As there was no evidence of progression, the owner consented to surgical intervention the following day.

On the day of surgery, Abraham was started on intravenous fluids and pre-operative antibiotics. He tolerated the procedure well, and no complications were observed during surgery. Due to the nature and extent of the surgical intervention, we recommended a soft diet for two weeks to facilitate gentle passage of food through the gastrointestinal tract and support recovery.

At his post-operative recheck today, Abraham was reported to be doing well, and his owner expressed her appreciation and wanted the team to know he is recovering nicely.
