Patient is a 10 month old, 46 lb female who was spayed down at their rescue in Texas but was presenting with symptoms of being in heat. Our surgeon was unsure whether it would be an exploratory surgery or a regular spay as it would depend on whether or not an ovary was still present. She quickly found that there was still an ovary and was able to treat the surgery as a regular spay.
