Hey so my Cat had urinary blockage, the doctor showed me the before and after first round dark blood really hazy.. last round was bright red.. this was an unblock and go procedure this the first time it’s happened as of this moment i have him home on meds that they gave me ive checking the liter box. He pees very little post procedure ( its been a little over twelve hours) and likes to sit in liteer box when he isnt next to me what should i do next that is cost effective and will actually help my boy zorro.

Hello, There are a lot of reasons cats get a urinary blockage. Infection, bladder stones, stress, bleeding, and they usually happen over a prolonged time period which makes treatment and resolution more difficult. Your cat needs help in trying to figure out what caused this and they also need more time in helping to resolve it. In some cases an xray (for stones) or ultrasound (for masses in the bladder) provide better clues. Thank you.. I’ve been monitoring him all morning he keeps going into litter box does small pee spots and then get comfortable and sits when I touch his stomach / check his bladder I do feel a firm mess still and it feels way bigger than a golf ball.
