My 2 year old Rat Terrier got into the trash yesterday. Today he has mild diarrhea and is crying a lot. What can I do for him?
We want to keep a 2 year old Rat Terrier who is so sweet. She wants love or to play. The cats, not. One cat stood her ground, the other hides all the time. How long should it take a cat to get used to her, the dog? Anything we can do?
Our 7 year old Rat Terrier went blind 2 weeks ago with high pressures She’s been on 3 drops and doxy, but all tests are neg. Tick panels, urine, blood, ultrasounds. No one has an idea & she’s hurting The ophthalmologist is stuck Any ideas?
We have a 1 year (and 2 month) old mixed breed dog (rhotweiler and rat terrier mix). We crate trained him when we first got him and he did great. We slowly allowed him to spend more and more time out of his crate until he was good all day out of his crate while we were at work (6 – 3). He got to the point where he didn’t want to go in his crate at all anymore. So, for the last 7 months he has been allowed free range of the house and has done a great job. No accidents and no chewed up things. In the past 3 weeks he has chewed numerous rugs, shoes, pillows and anything else he can. we try to pick everything up but the rugs and pillows stay out. We began filling treats with peanut butter and freezing them and we give him one before we leave. We go on two long walks a day and he gets plenty of cuddle and play time. I didn’t really want to crate train him after he has had all of this free space as I felt he would see it as punishment. But I am unsure of what else to do.
