Can allergies make our black lab cough? What can we give her?
Hello. I have a 3 year old male silky terrier and a 4 year old female Yorkie poo. Recently a brown lab puppy has moved in behind me. Not sure of its sex. My male dog is going crazy trying to bite and get to this lab. We even put lattice work over our existing fence to provide some security. My male will not let him alone the entire time the lab is out. My male will bark consistently at the dog, bite at the lattice work and run back and forth. He is normally submissive to my female and this is very out of character for him. Any suggestions/ideas???
Hello, I have a white Pitt bull terrier named Flex who suddenly has a very red nose and ear over the weekend. What could be the cause of his skin turning red? Thank you, – Kelly

I have a lionhead bunny. Her eye is red below the eyeball, seems like an internal blood clot. She is still behaving like normal though. I am scared what has happened suddenly.
Can someone please help? All vets in my area are closed right now and I am freaking out. Please help.
I have an older dog that is having trouble controlling her bowels. As a result, she is pooping in the house, and I have noticed over the past two weeks that her poop is coming out cold. What causes this? Is it anything to be concerned about? Is it a sign of a health problem?
We have a year old neutered male cat named Sherlock. We have a woodstove in our living room and Sherlock has started randomly spending time licking the metal piping that comes out of the stove. (it’s not hot or cooking wood currently). He will do this several times a day for about 5-10 minutes each time.
What could be some reasons causing him to want to lick the wood stove piping?

My dog recently had part of his tail amputated. We were told to look for a number of symptoms and one of them was colorful discharge. He has not really had any excessive bleeding episodes with his tail, just a little blood softened at the tip (assumed to be from dryness). Now the area has turned to a darkened red, and we can no longer see his stitches. Is this normal, or should we bring him in?
I have had my cat, Bear, to JV Veterinary Center and saw Dr. Morgan for a skin condition. It has been a recurring itching where he scratches or licks until he wears off his hair. In the past we gave him a regimen of prednizone as well as oil capsules.
He is currently on prednizone, but I have had a great deal of difficulty giving it to him on the prescribed schedule, as he’s outdoors so much this time of year. He also learns quickly the routine, and sees me coming and runs from me at medicine time. As a result, it has been once a day rather than twice, which has not really helped the itching, and I’m unsure of how to taper the dose at this point.
Dr. Morgan had also offered an injection, which she explained can carry a bit more risk to the cat, so I opted for the oral tablets.
My question is this: Is it possible to still opt for the injection since he has been on the prednizone tablets for a couple of weeks? I’m concerned with his continued itching, and also I will be going away for 4 days at the end of next week. Missing the doses that we did, I would still have to give him the pills during the time I’m to be away.
Please advise. Thank you!
I have a 7 mo old boxer puppy, Lola. She broke her back right leg last Friday running into a tree. She has a splint on, Monday was her first splint change. She’s not licking at it, but couldn’t settle in tonight. When checking it all over her two toes are red inbetween and look a little swollen. I ran my finger between the two toes and applied vetericyn. Is there anything else I should do until I can get in tomorrow to my Vet. ? She seems comfortable now?
