My thirteen year old standard poodle has been getting a lot of sebaceous cysts. She has more than ten with new ones appearing all the time. A lot have been biopsied to make sure what they are.
Our vet tells us there’s not much we can do about the cysts besides keep an eye on them, that over active sebaceous glands are causing them.
But is there anything that can be done about curbing the sebaceous glands themselves?
My cat is a seven month old female tabby, indoor only. She recently started using the litter box without covering it up afterward. We have two other cats as well. But they continue to us the letterbox and bury when finished. We clean the multiple boxes at least once a day, sometimes twice. Her new behavior doesn’t seem like a serious problem. But I am curious about the sudden change and would prefer she go back to burying. Any thoughts or advice?
My Dachshund has diarrhea on and off for the last few weeks. She went fine this morning but this afternoon she had diarrhea twice. She is eating, drinking, and acting fine. What is the cause and how can we treat it?
My cat has been treated for what we thought was an upper respiratory infection and was placed on Clavamox. She stopped eating and drinking. Now her WBC count and her EOS is ridiculously high. I have done research online and found that a high EOS could be a result of feline asthma. Yet, when I mention it to the vet, they are blowing me off. Help!
Our dog rides fine in the car until we get to elevation/curvy roads, then gets carsick. She drools at the mouth, her eyes get watery and she throws up. Once we get to our destination, she is fine. I have heard of giving Dramamine to animals, but am afraid to give her anything without a vets advice. She is a black/tan coonhound and weighs 57 lbs.
Hi, My dog was laying on the floor, sleeping and when he got up, he is limping bad, as if he twisted his foot some how. He will not put pressure on his back Left paw. It is the paw and not the leg. This is very hard for him to walk or go to the bathroom outside. He can go down our porch steps, but can’t get back up. King ( My dog’s) name, is a 5 year old lab and weighs approx. 100 + pounds…We can’t take him to the vet, because he wont get into our vehicles, and he won’t let me or my wife touch his foot to look to see what his paw is looking like. Me and my wife are elderly, and cannot lift him and he will not let us touch his foot. Any advice you could give us would be helpful, We don’t want to take him to the Vet due to finances… He will put pressure on the tip of the toes on the bad foot (Lightly)..when walking sometimes. Your help would be very grateful.. It appears he may have sprained his paws when he got up after sleeping. Your help is so much appreciated.

I just got a jack russell puppy and she is 8 weeks old today. Her tail isn’t docked. I was wondering if you suggest getting it done or not. And if so, what age is best to do it? Also what age do I get her fixed? I’d appreciate your advice. Thanks!
