My 4yo lab normally has a lab lean and tends to twist her body left and wag to the left.the last few days we’ve noticed that she’s walking a little "twisted", especially when she gets up. She doesn’t seem to be in any discomfort and has a normal activity level.she does have hip dysplasia on the same hip so I’m wondering if she’s having muscle spasms. She also occasionally twists and bites her rump like their’s something itchy. Any ideas ? Thanks !

Hi,

Unusual movement, especially on rising, can indicate discomfort, so it might be worth getting her checked out in case her hip dysplasia has got a liitle worse. Biting around there can also be a pain response as well as itchiness.
Also get her anal glands checked at the same time as this would be another common reason for these signs.
