Our 7 year-old male kitty Oliver has FIA or hemobart. He tested positive for haemominutum. He was trapped from an outdoor colony 20 months ago. His symptoms include mild anemia (he was not anemic 6 months ago), change in appetite and energy, stomatitis.

What is the treatment gold standard and how do we best determine progress? What risks to manage with Diego, our other kitty?

Hello,
I’m sorry but I don’t really understand your question? The anemia needs to be addressed and some form of treatment for the cause of it provided. You may need the help of either a feline specialist or internal medicine vet. Best of luck. Thank you for rescuing him
