3 weeks post-spaying of an adult dog who was also pregnant. Everything seemed fine after a ‘ruff’ couple of days. About 3 days ago I noticed a soft-ish ‘bubble’ type lump on her side. It is not by the incision site, which seems to be healing fine. If she lays on her side, it higher up her side from her thigh and closer to her back than her underbelly. It is not hot, is not red or have any color, does not seem to cause her any discomfort if I touch it and she isn’t acting any differently. Food and water going in and coming out just fine. I’ve just read up on hernias and seromas in dogs, but I don’t see anything about them being in that area post-op. I will take her to the vet soon, but would like to put my mind at rest and know if there is anything can do for her in the meantime. Thanks

Hello,
I think that this should be seen by your vet. Speculation is not a place to base this answer upon. There is no way anyone can answer this with any credible guessing. Please see your vet. If it looks abnormal to you your vet needs to be consulted.
