I have gotten As in every math class I’ve ever taken since 7th grade, and am currently a senior in high school in AP Calculus. However, math is definitely not a source of enjoyment for me. Is this a deal-breaker if I want to become a vet? My uncle is a surgeon and says that the math in college shouldn’t be anything more than advanced calculus, and that I would only be using basic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) while actually on the job. So how much math does being a vet actually require on a daily basis, as well as in college?
