Because of urine scald our vet made a x-ray of our rabbit. They saw calcification in his kidney. His kidney function is good, so the vet advised us to remove the kidney. He is in overall good health. Would it be wise to remove the kidney?

Is your vet a good vet and you trust him/her, then remove the kidney. Your vet went to medical school and knows what’s best for your rabbit. Once the kidney is removed, however, try to prevent more urine scald and calcification. Good luck!
