my 14yr old collie cross has been having problems with his back end for a while now, i have to help him get up but over the last few days he has become incontinent. He is still eating although because of gingivitis he wont eat his usual food any more and I am feeding him softer foods that he can chew easily. I dont know if its time to let him go?

Its up to you and the quality of life of the animal. When my dog has seizures we thought to our self that he would be fine but after each one he got worse and worse. After is last one I swear he looked at me like “please let me go” so we went to the vet the next day and had him PTS. It was a VERY difficult situation but we had to think of him and not our greedynees to keep him around in pain. Im so sorry about your baby, Im hoping the best for you
