Anyone have any ideas, preferably vets? She is a 100% inside dog who lives with me in my city apartment so she doesn’t have a lot of outside exposure but I would rather be safe and have her on something. Like I said, she cannot do topical medication and everything that I have seen appears to be for ticks only is topical. Also, I have never seen any medications that cover everything, heartworm/parasites/fleas/ticks that is in a oral pill. The only ones that I have seen are only in a topical application which I cannot apply to her. Don’t get why there is the way that it is. Does anyone have any ideas. Trifexis is great but the one thing that it doesn’t cover is ticks, it prevents everything else.

Also to add, there isn’t one pill that covers all flea/heartworm/ticks/etc….but getting it all in two pills is better than nothing. It’s that way because getting the correct medications formulated correctly into one pill is difficult to do. That’s why pharmaceutical companies make the big $$

Give NexGard a try,,my dog does well on it,,no fleas or ticks
