I work at a doggy daycare, and one of the pups I work with is all and all an extremely sweet dog, but recently he has formed a bad habit of trying to bite the other dogs when they come in and out of the entrance door… any ideas how to deter him from doing that?

Aww I agree Georgia, he is feeling out of sorts. He is feeling like he is threatened and needs to guard. There is a reason he is beginning to guard because he is feeling he needs to. I would begin to have a pup go through the door and when he fixates on the dog to cause a bite, say his name and have him make eye contact and he sits…then treat him. I would get another dog to begin regularly walk through the door with you and make it a happy moment with a treat after his name is… Read more »
