My senior dog is having sleeping disorder due to CDD. She is on Selegiline in the day, and TCM herb for the night. But she never sleeps through the night. Tramadol and gabapentin don’t work as well. I’m thinking of introducing melatonin for the night. Need advice if there is any potential side effect to administer Selegiline (day) and Melatonin (night)? Thanks

I agree with Sarah. Many of these cannot be used in combination. So it is best to talk to your vet I have lots of information on my blog about this subject. And it also might help to try other medications to ease the nighttime sleeping.

Good morning. Being that your dog is on multiple meds and supplements, I would discuss any additions/omissions with your vet first, before changing anything. They know your pup best and know better how they might react to any change. Best of luck??
