My Cat seemed to be having issues with pooping. So took him to the vet yesterday. The doctor felt gas presser and took a stool sample and found a lot of cat hair. So he said the cat has an infection while in the back. My cat peed some and it was red so I told the vet and he said that’s how he got the infection and cat hair in his system. He was given antibiotic/anti-inflammatory inj and told me to give him amoxi. The thing is should I be worried about him having stones or any other issues or should I just trust the doctors. If he had any blockage or other issues the doctor would have surely felt it right? (no other tests were done) What should I do. I

Hello,
I think that anytime a pet parent feels anything less than complete confidence with their pets care that they should ask for clarification and if they cannot get it ask for a second opinion.
