My question is can I mix the puppy food with the adult food so I don’t have to fight with him to stay out of the food that’s left out for the adults?

The very first thing I would do is stop free-feeding the pugs!  Most small dogs have a tenancy to pack on weight — especially if they are allowed to eat when/what they want.  Your dogs will maintain a healthier weight as they age if you feed them at a set time each day and in a way that you know exactly how much each dog consumes. the mastiff should be either on a large breed puppy food or an all life stages food…regular puppy food can be problematic for big dogs.  i wouldn’t feed the small breed adult food to the mastiff at all, to be quite honest.

okay, that’s good. 🙂

i still wouldn’t let him eat the other dogs’ food. either switch everyone to an all life stages food appropriate for larger dogs, or feed separately and prevent the puppy from eating the pugs’ food.
