My 2 1/2 year old pitbull appeared to have a dime sized soft pinkish lump. Over the period of 4 days, using triple antibiotic ointment and just general keeping it clean, it looked as if it was healing. I checked today and it seems a little larger and im just not sure what it could even be because of the way it looks , similar to maybe a blood blister? Please any advice. I will take him to the vet if this doesn’t seem to get better but I live quite far from the nearest one.

Hello,
That needs to be seen by a vet as soon as possible. It is too large and too close to the eye for me to recommend anything else.
Good morning. Sorry about your pup it is so hard to ever tell I’m a photo….a big concern is that it is so close to the eye. That can complicate things. With a picture it is hard to actually “see” what is really going on- a vet can feel it and get a very good close look to diagnos better. And again, being that it is so close to the eye, is concerning.
