In the picture posted above, he has some rigid areas on his upper gum on the right side of the snout. A small bit of fur on the other side of the rigid area became white.. It doesn’t seem to bother him, and it’s been like this without growing for well over a year. I just don’t know if blunt trauma could cause that and if it would make a small part of fur on the traumatized area turn white.
the other side of the snout, the left upper side gums are smooth. He doesn’t have terribly bad breath either. A bit, but I think that’s from plaque I’m about to start maintaining for him.
On the rigid side, the gums seem to be whiter than the smooth side, which are a light pink or red.
