Likely seroma in dog following intestinal blockage / spay. I am not comfortable with them opening her back up. She is a 2 year old lab. Her surgery was done at an ER vet and they are already charging to just check the incision. We are waiting for the vet now. I feel like despite the incision looking great they will want to do the most expensive option. Thoughts???

Hello,
Stick with a vet you trust. Ask for everything to be explained and documented. Also ask for the surgeons name, expertise and assistance in helping your dog post op. At my clinic with all of my patients I provide all the assistance they need to help them feel comfortable and confident with their pets care. I hope this helps. Best of luck. Let us know what happens.
