I have a 13+ year old Jack Russell who has just developed cataracts (more severe in right eye). He seems to get around just fine but does have a problem focusing directly in front of him. At this age I obviously do not want to elect for surgery but I was wondering if there is anything I can give him (homeopathic) that might help. Thank you!

Hello Patti, Thanks for the question. Admittedly I am not a homeopathic doctor and I unfortunately don’t have any advice for a remedy for cataracts. Cataracts are common among older dogs (and people), and are best treated by surgery in almost all cases. I have had many clients elect for this surgery and been very very happy with the results post-op. This surgery is done at an ophthalmologists office as a referral from your veterinarian.
