So I recently rescued a sickly betta fish from my local Walmart. I rutinely check walmarts fish selection weekly and noticed that one gorgeous, shimmery blue betta was slowly changing from his normal color to a dull, brownish-red color with patches of dark crimsons… Obviously nothing healthy. I purchased him, and currently is in a vase (I know wrong, but it’s only temporary) I named him Phantom. He only floats near the bottom and the top not moving an inch, except for his eyes. The poor boy… He also has whitish (not super noticeable) stuff under his gills, and redish bumps on his head. I was thinking some sort of infection? He’s currently in a warm location. Any ideas for what’s wrong? His color change, the lack of movement, and those skin patches? Anything would be helpful
