Two years ago she also had what we presume to be IVDD in her cervical spine (at the time I couldn’t afford an MRI or surgery so we treated with steroids and cage rest) and now takes gabapentin twice daily and gets accupuncture monthly to manage pain. Until recently she easily took her gabapentin in wet food, but has since stopped. She also will not take the med in peanut butter, yogurt or baked sweet potato (her favorite treat). She definitely has pain if she doesn’t get her med, and I feel horrible pilling her twice daily. Any recommendations for getting her to take pills?
