He is about 4 years old and he is a boston great dane. The lump on his leg is very hard and it is causing him allot of pain. He also is starting to get red bumps all over his jowls and i think he has a fever. He is unable to put any pressure on that leg now and i don’t have enough money to take him to the vet rite now so any help is greatly appreciated. Here are pictures of his leg and face: Hi my my almost 4 year old boston great dane has has had a lump on his left front leg for the past 2 or 3 months, and everyday it gets worse. He is hardly able to walk and the lump keeps getting more and more swollen everyday, the lump is really hard and he know walks with a really bad limp. He is also starting to get red bumps on his jowls and i think he has a fever. If i had the money i would take him to the vet but rite now i cant afford it. I want to know if there is anything i can do to help him until i can get him to the vet because he looks extremely sick and he is not himself. I have pictures of the lump on his leg and the red bumps on his face. http://postimg.org/gallery/w9n7m9ge/

Cameron, you absolutely need to find a way for him to see a vet. See if you qualify for any of these: http://www.leospetcare.com/how-to-pay-for-pet-care-veterinary-financial-assistance/

See if there is a vet in your area who uses Vet Billing

See if you can make something like this work

Whatever you going to do, you need to get your dog medical help.

Cameron I cannot believe you have left your dog suffering like this for months. He must be in agony.  You HAVE to take him to a Vet like yesterday. This is neglect letting him suffer like this for so long.

Great Danes are prone to bone cancer, were you aware of that? This could be cancer.  You urgently need to get him treatment. If you don’t have funds to see a Vet, borrow it….sell.something, do you have any jewellery? Sell it. Phone Vets tell them how ill your dog is and ask if you can pay it off in instalments.
