In a nutshell, he’s a lovely cat. Very sociable and loves his food. I’ve fed him on Hills and Iams since he was a few weeks old. Every so often, I give him a “treat” of milk and/or Whiskas/wet food. For the last few days, he’s not been interested in any of the above and has hardly touched his water. He seemed especially ill on Saturday night, but early on Sunday morning, my partner opened the door and he was apparently keen to go out. He didn’t come home last night, which is almost unheard of for him. TBH, I feared the worst and thought he had effectively gone to find somewhere to die quietly. I’m thrilled to say that I found him tonight, under a bush in the garden. I brought him back in, but he’s still totally off his food, drink, etc. There doesn’t seem to be anything wrong physically with him, i.e. no vomiting or ill-stools, etc and he doesn’t seem to be in any pain when I’ve “tested” him by stroking. He has had probs with eye-infections in the past, but his eyes seem relatively fine. Apart from the vet, which as above, I will have to find a way to do if he doesn’t improve imminently, does anybody have any suggestions about the problem and any potential help I can give him?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Look into Care Credit which allows you to pay your bill to the vet and then pay the balance over time. One other suggestion is to make your appointment with your vet have them find out what is wrong and give you the estimate of the total cost then you know what you have to work towards. I hope some of this might be helpful to you and I hope your pet feels… Read more »
