He starts immediatly and compulsively. It gone on for years now. He doesnt do this…

He starts immediatly and compulsively. It gone on for years now. He doesnt do this when rubbed on his stomach, just back and sides. He even starts up if you just blow on him. He will continue to lick for a minute or two after hes left alone. I was just thinking it was a nervous reaction or personality thing. He does have slight dandruff flakes but he doesnt scratch at himself and he eats plenty of canned food. I read that helps with dry skin? I am worried there might be something more to it or is it just his personality? I just dont want him licking and contracting something if he already doesnt have it. He never seems to be in pain.

I had a male cat that used to do the same thing. When ever I touched his lower back he would go crazy! Think it’s just a cat thing.

actually – that’s a CAT thing.  🙂  some cats do it and some don’t.

ya, the first time that happens it can be really distressing! cats are goofballs. 🙂
