My female rabbit has lost her fur on the top front of her chest and towards front arms, she is shedding or something. It doesnt seem to hurt her at all, because ive looked at it. She stays outside but i bring her in sometimes but only to play, she sleeps outside in her cage every night unless a very bad stormy weather which wasnt the case. Her diet is healthy, shes been eating and drinking like her normal self. Only thing i saw her do a few days ago was pull out her grey fur. (Shes black but she has this greyish fur which is loose fur.. But its only like on her back and that area). Please help! Thankyou.

My rabbit had a similar condition, i took her to the vet and she gave me ‘Neocort’ cream which applied to the affected areas daily. It has been a few weeks and she is back to normal!

It could be mites, stress or a reaction to something. Have you changed any cleaning products or bedding etc? I’d take them to the vet to make sure and they’ll tell you straight away and how to help her. Is she using the fur and putting it in her bed? Because it may be a phantom pregnancy (my rabbit did it) but they’ll stop after a while. I’d take her to a vet just to be sure. Hope some of this may help just a few ideas:)
