Hello Dr Magnífico. I called Jarettsville Vet and they told me to write here…I really really need guidance. I’ve been trying to trap a small kitten I caught on my camera eating on my porch where I feed my other strays. I finally caught her yesterday morning but I noticed her belly is so swollen, she’s eating, and pooping normal but is sleeping the entire time. I brought her to new holland vet and she does have a fever of 103. They drained her belly and the dr says it doesn’t look like fip because the fluid that came out was thick more pus than anything. They ran an in house culture and he said it’s a bunch of bacteria. He said she needs a lavage but quoted by 2,000+ I’m not sure what to do. They gave her fluids to bring her fever down and clavamox
