Hi, we’ve had a rescued marmalade cat for 18months who was excrutiatingly thin when we rescued her but otherwise sickness free. She has been spayed, innoculated and is wormed and de-flead regularly.

We have a large wild garden which she hunts in all the time and eats her pray. Recently she went off her food and so lethargic she could hardly sit up. Her nose was white and so was her third eyelid. Realised she was anaemic and took her to the vet straight away. He gave her an injection for intestinal infestation, vitamin tablets for anaemia and we dewormed her a month early. She’s picked up and her normal behaviour is returning but she has started to crouch in a strange position as though she gets waves of discomfort. Looking on the internet points to her being in pain. The vet said it takes time but I’m worried. I will take her back to the vet but he is not open today and I’d like some advice if possible. Thanks.
