Hello I have an adult corn snake that I just received from people who haven’t fed her in months. We know it’s been over five months since she last at, so after we got her we fed her one adult mouse which she ate right away. It’s been five days since we fed her and I was wondering if it’s too early to feed her again? I know the average is ten days between feeding but she’s so skinny that I feel like she needs more food.

oh gosh, that poor girl.  how long is she?  and NO that isn’t too soon.  depending on her overall size i’d probably increase quantity as well as frequency.  add a second adult mouse to her next meal.

and bless you for taking her in.  i had to stop rescuing reptiles because people deliberately mistreat them far too often.

god, so they didn’t even handle her? ugh. i HATE people like that.

i would go with two mice. hopefully she doesn’t regurge. if she does, then take it back to one with increased frequency (5 days would be my max, right now).
