My English bulldog is fast approaching 9 years old. Recently he had what was first thought to be histiocytomas appear on his neck on 03/13 of this year. I was not totally satisfied with the whole let’s wait and watch game so I took him for a second and third opinion this week, The 2 new vets seem to think it is cancer and it would be more humane to put him down. Does anyone have any experience with histiocytoma? Is it generally wt and oozing? Does it double in size before going away?

Definately do not go with what you said were the 2 new vets opions of what they “think” it may be and put your dog down! Go get biopsy’s and get a diagnosis so you know what is going on for sure and then can get treatment options.

Wishing you and your dog all the best,
