Dr. Magnifico,
This is one of your and Dr. Morgan’s patient’s who is a dog named Kiki Dullum. She is the daughter of Sierra Dullum. Dr. Morgan and I have suspected that she has a brain tumor and she is scheduled to be put to sleep by Dr. Morgan at my home between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm on this Thursday July 9, 2015. Dr. Morgan has put Kiki on 2 Phenobarbitol 2 x per day and Valium 3 x a day and recently decreased it to 1x per day. Today my husband forgot to give her medication and gave it to her 5 hours late. At 4:00 she had a severe seizure. I gave her 2 Phenobarbitol and a Valium in addition to her normal dose. Her seizure stopped and she was up and walking within 10 minutes. At 4:30 she had another severe seizure and I gave her 1 phenobarbital and 1 Valium. At 7:30 she had another severe seizure and I gave her 2 phenobarbital and 1 Valium. She does not seem very sleepy from the Valium. So she has had a total 7 Phenobarbital today and 4/ 2mg doses valium. I am following Dr. Morgan’s instructions. I am afraid that she will keep having seizures tonight and I won’t know what to do. What should I do? I would like to keep her alive until Tuesday when someone from your office can come to my home and put her to sleep. If that is not possible, Id like to keep her comfortable through the night and have her put to sleep by you at 1:00 pm tomorrow. Please help me. Please call me at 443-204-2300 or have Dr. Morgan call me ASAP. I am afraid to give her more medicine and I do not want to remember the fourth of July as having to put my baby down in a cold, sterile, unfamiliar place like the Pet ER in Towson. Thank you
