Its the right leg and is broken outwasrd, perpendicular to its body at the hip. It has a lready healed as it happened when it was a little younger but what can i do to fix this? It is sad to see it stumble abot with such effort. I tried using medical tape to tie it to the other leg to at leas pring it inward so it can use it to support itself a bit. It is still bent outward anf taped up. It doesnt seen to be in any pain it is sleepin right now but what can i do to permanently fix its leg without bringing it to a vet as it is not a pet, my dad breeds doves and sells them. We both just want to help this one. This is not for profit.

Hi….I think our Vet Krista should answer this one….but as far as I am aware you will find that because the Dove broke its leg some time ago its too late to do anything. If you had taken it to a Vet at the time perhaps it could have been splinted then, but now the bone has healed theres not much hope of the leg being normal again.  I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think I am.
