I didn’t believe until it happened in front of me. I had him 2 yrs before he started this. He is a rescue. The last 8 months, it has progressed to also include this- he does not seem to associate going outside in the back with needing to deficate. On a walk no problem. He will go out a few times when I get home from work. Before and after eating. He will then promptly walk in hunched over and dropping a few stools. He has a fellow Lab that has been here since he has. Had him checked and was medically cleared. My vet didn’t seem to have an issue. I’m at my wits end. Don’t know how to correct his. I will take him for a walk before work and will come home to a stool lying about somewhere.

I think, in this case, a check of his spine might be a good idea.  Did they do any sort of x-rays or other testing on his rear end?  Is he overweight?  How old is he?  Did the vet give any insight as to the cause?
