I have a little Shih-Tzu who was deathly afraid of thunderstorms. I tried everything including the ThunderShirt and oral medications. Absolutely nothing worked. I heard about the Rein Coat and thought I might as well try it because I’ve tried everything else. I really did not expect it to work. Boy was I surprised. The Rein Coat is the best thing since sliced bread. I put it on my little Cissy and she is a dog that will NOT wear little dresses, costumes, etc. She LOVES it. Great advice from Krista, as always.  My 2 cents: Does your dog have a crate?  Many dogs cope better with fears when they have a nice little ‘cave’ to which they can retire when life is a bit overwhelming.  A plastic crate is a safe haven for a dog.  If your dog has never had one, get one that is large enough for your dog to lay down full length in it.  Then place the crate in your bedroom (he will want to be able to hear you breath at night), and drop treats into the back of the crate.… Read more »
