I don’t know what to do to help her as she seems to be getting worse but I can’t get her to a vets… Is there anything I can give her to help with the pain like paracetamol or ibruprofen until I can get her to a vet? I’ve taken her for a walk today and she seems fine until she tries to move after resting then she yelps in pain when she moves… She’s panting hard and is getting hot. I’ve managed to get her to lay on her bed with the back door open to help cool her down and I’ve put down water to, I don’t know what else to do?

Because I can’t imagine you’d take a dog yelping in pain for a walk …?… Read more »

She did that on a walk once too, we figured then she stepped on something and she walked out of it quickly. Except it returned and she would not use that leg and would not move. That was before we knew what  was going on. The day she got diagnosed, around noon she was just really odd – standing funny, walking backward… Read more »
