Have a dog with a mastitis infection, what can I do for her? 8 years old – no pups

what does your vet say about this?  she should probably be on some sort of antibiotic for it, at the very least.

your regular vet is booked up, too? tell them this may become an emergency?

You should get her to the vet ASAP, Mastitis  are very aggressive and fast-moving, so the sooner antibiotics are started the better chance of not having a blowout.

A blowout is the swelling/infection that will try to come out the side of the breast, like a volcano that wants to erupt.

In the mean time you can try to give her a little relief by, soaking a towel in warm water and  vinegar, then lay the towel over her tummy. Good luck,  and I hope your dog gets better soon.
