My LD is about 10lbs. She was attacked and picked up by the BD. at the time there was no bleeding, but she did have some cuts on the upper back right side, down to her belly, and her right butt cheek.

Yes, definitely need to see a vet. There might be major injuries not visible with plain eye. Being so protective of her wounds she might be in a lot of pain. There might also be infection. It is definitely best idea to bring a dog, particularly a small one, to a vet right away when something like that happens.

Hello,

I don’t know what a BDLD is….but…, I would see a vet. Getting her an exam the vet can determine if there are wounds that you cannot see just from checking her over.
