Hello, Radiographs are a good place to start, but a biopsy will give you a diagnosis. Here’s my approach to these cases: 1. Get a second opinion. 2. Ask what the cost of the diagnostic is, and, what the cost of the treatment (or even if there is one available), after the diagnostic. Your answer as to what to do next may lie in the answer to these questions. My worry is that the diagnosis is presumptive premature. I would definitely send for biopsy. This is a young cat- and if it is benign then it’s a no brained to just remove it. If not then you can discuss treatment options with your vet. Best of luck to you.?

I don’t see why you WOULDN’T get full diagnostics done.
