I have a chi/terrier mix who is 13 yrs old. and has had several seizures in the last yr or so, but lately she yelps if I pick her up or touch her nose or ears and walks very slow and does not jump on furniture any more, but she still eats ,drinks etc. Just wondering if she may have had a stroke ?

Dogs aren’t really prone to the same kind of stroke as humans are. There is such a thing as a fibrocartilaginous embolism (FCE), which is referred to as a spinal cord stroke. This one does come with pain, which, however, typically gradually resolves over the period of 12 to 24 hours.
