What age will a puppy lose his sharp baby teeth and stop trying to chew…

What age will a puppy lose his sharp baby teeth and stop trying to chew on you ? Will he swallow them or do we need to worry about stepping on them ?

Hello Bobby, Puppies start to lose their teeth at about three months old and the last baby teeth are usually shed by about 6 to 9 months of age. The front (incisors) go first, (you know the little song about ‘your two front teeth?") and the back molars are the last. We vets use baby (deciduous) teeth and adult (permanent) teeth to help us figure out the age of kittens and puppies.
