I have an 8 week old Staffordshire puppy. He has been constantly scratching and chewing his back paws, he also scratches his ear and face area, and his eyelids are swollen and puffy today. If anyone has please could any advice for us

You need to get your puppy off all grains.  If he has an allergy going it will be compounded by eating any grains.  There are many grain-free dog foods available it will not be difficult to find one.  Wellness Core, Blue Buffalo Wilderness, Taste of the Wild just to name a few.  A rinse with some vinegar in it may help calm down his itching (1/3 apple cider vinegar, 2/3 water).

But be sure to double check with a vet (or get a second opinion) to make sure it isn’t mange or some thing like that!

I’m a foodie over here & even wrote What’s For Dinner, Dexter? with a holistic veterinarian. You are what you eat, and the same goes for our dogs. I prefer home cooking of course, but if you are going to do a processed food, look for one that is high in meat! Origin is my favorite with over 9 named meats as the first ingredients.
