I have 3 littermates lab/blue Heeler mixes. They are 8 weeks old. How can I help them with seperation anxiety when I crate them at night? Thanks!

crate separately.  put covers over the crates.  also, during the day, train them separately and take them out for individual outings.

i don’t envy you – littermate syndrome is a tough beast.

i have heard the more intelligent and independently-thinking the breed, the more prone they are to littermate syndrome…and the less likely they are to listen to their owners.

in the dobe world, we’re cautioned against having puppies of a similar age, and even experienced handlers/owners/breeders focus a great deal on preventing littermate syndrome for training purposes. i would imagine the situation is the same for herding breeds.
