I have a 2 yr old burmila feline with a posterior cruciate ligament tear . He is about 8 lbs . My vet said it was nothing to be concerned about he would learn to live with it . He said no medication was needed but i disagree due to behavior

I had a cat that was caught by a fox as the cat climbed a tree.  The fox had her by her hind leg and she tore muscle and ligaments as she pulled herself up the tree, and out of the fox’s mouth.  Off we raced to the vet once she came down out of the tree.  He stitched up the cut that split her skin the length of her leg, but after an xray to see what the internal damage was, did nothing for the torn ligaments.  She came home with the leg wrapped and immobilized straight out from… Read more »
