My 2, 6 week old kitten have fleas, i found out today. I called the vet no treatment until 8 weeks. Told to use palmolive dish soap and comb. My question is how often can i bath and is there anything else i can do, such as a lemon spray?

Just use a small amount of dish soap on a small kitten this will get rid of the fleas and won’t hurt them, if you use lemon or anything other then a mild dish soap it may harm the kittens. The vet had told me one time that even if you use just warm water on a small kitten it will kill the fleas. Good luck with your babys.

Sorry. If after one week you are still seeing fleas then maybe try bathing them with a mild dish soap once a week and then maybe just use water once a week also, but I would only bath them once a week with the dish soap  if I was you, cause you don’t want to harm your little babies. Also make sure that there bedding is clean and fleas free. Good luck.☺

I thought just warm water would get rid of alot of them. I noticed that you have said you have carpet, whenever you have animals and carpet they don’t go well together, fleas love carpet so that’s maybe why the babies have the fleas.
