My 15 lb dog just ate a roteserie chicken with bones. Should I take him to the vet?

Don’t panic straight away, look out for signs of the bone causing an obstruction in his throat, these signs include choking, salivating, drinking a lot and discomfort (fidgeting/can’t get comfortable). 

If it’s been 12-24 hours the next thing to look out for is a perforated bowl so look out for blood in the stool, difficulty doing a number 2 or signs of pain. 

If you have any concerns give the vet a call to discuss signs and symptoms- most vets will give free advice over the phone if they’re available.
