My 13 week old kitten had diarrhea last weekend and threw up a clear substance some days before that, but he was acting just fine. All this week until about 1 or 2 this morning he started acting very weird. He was shaking and jerking his head around a lot and meowing. He wasn’t being active and wouldn’t eat any treats that he usually loves. Then he threw up a lot at one time. And was still acting very strange. At one point in the night he even became aggressive and was hiding, but he stopped that rather quickly. I finally went to sleep and woke up today and he is acting much better. He is eating and using the bathroom. He is still acting slightly off and his pupils are very dilated and will not go down. I don’t have the money for a vet at the moment, but if I need to go I’ll try and make arrangements. I just need some peace of mind. I’m very worried

Not all people are online at the same time, or know enough of cvats/kittens to help you.
Although I have some knowlege on cats I haven’t experienced what you decribe before. Is your kitten able to go outside? Do you have plants inside your house? Is it possible that your kitten ate something that was not healthy? Did he had dewormer or flea treatment shortly before the symtoms arised?

I would still go to see a vet, but if that is not possible, you should monitor him closely, if he gets worse you should definitly go to see a vet.

If the flea tratment is already some weks in the past that shouldn’t be the reason. I had kittens that had neurological symptoms after they had ben dewormed and given a flea treatment, that’s why I asked. Good to hear that there are at least no plants around that can harm him. I wish all the best for the little guy 🙂
