My 10 y/o male cat has been limping for a few days (back left leg)…

My 10 y/o male cat has been limping for a few days (back left leg). Appetite & behavior are normal. I’ve palpated around the entire leg, hip & foot – no wincing or meowing at all & no sign of lumps or swelling. Possible issues? Thanks!

Have you carefully examined the paw itself? Check for ingrown nails (if he has them) , check between the toes for anything that may be stuck or growths or even cat litter that may be clumped up. Not sure if cat’s get knee injuries like dogs do,,limping hind leg sometimes means cruciate issues with dogs…I don’t know if cat’s get the same thing so maybe one of the awesome vets on here will let us know.
