We had her on steroids for 6 weeks with a final slow taper. She was asymptomatic for two weeks, or until we had her groomed – it returned the day after. I fear stress (she was initially flown to us alone in a crate) is the trigger. Ladybug is now almost 8 months. My vet says it is time to be spayed, which is fine, but I fear this could trigger it again.

Do you have any thoughts regarding this? Should we not do it? Is there a way to lessen stress during the spaying? etc…

I so appreciated reading your post. It was the first one which gave me some comfort…
